Why ValidBuild? how is it different from other platforms?ValidBuild is a credential management platform. We leverage the design of PoA private Ethereum network to bring benefits from blockchain technologies, while matching the needs of organizational operations, in order to simplify and enhance the process. We target educational institutions, learning platforms, workshops, seminars, etc. to specifically support their needs in credential issuance and management. The platform is designed to be flexible to match different use cases and scenarios in the industry. We adopt the private Ethereum framework, which is a well-verified and reliable blockchain design for enterprise use. It also reduces risks to expose sensitive data to the public when compared to platforms on public blockchains. Our blockchain is not affected by gas costs, scalability issues and “traffic jams” in public blockchain, digital asset compliance, etc. Unlike centralized platforms, ValidBuild can be seen as a flexible platform to facilitate you in issuing and managing credentials on-chain, we are however not an enclosed place to limit you and the data within us, you can exert full control on your issued credentials and data here.

Are the credentials only valid within ValidBuild? Can I control where the data is stored?The credentials are always valid anywhere, or as defined by the issuer, so the short answer is No. This is achieved by the blockchain nature of ValidBuild which enables you to own all your credential data and to receive all the updates in realtime when operating it and store them in any secure place. You are free to use the data for your own purposes for validation/verification online/offline.

Does ValidBuild applicable to previously issued credentials?Yes, you can also create on-chain past records of credentials with us and distribute to the past attendees as a supplementary proof.

Can we request to customize the issuance or verification process to match our requirements?Yes, ValidBuild is a platform to assist your credential management, you can directly contact us to discuss the arrangement that suits you or your organization the best.

Will you restrict issuers to use certain of your certificate templates?No, currently we are not restricting any certificate design templates to users, if you want to upload a certificate with designs, you can first prepare the design of the certificate and upload the files to the platform. Still, we are working on new features to assist users to create certificate designs, stay tuned!
